Places available for children aged 3 to 11yrs!
Our wrap around care provision at Shirley is provided by Kids R Us - a relatively small, local provider who run their highly successful clubs in five Cambridge schools. They provide a safe, stimulating, child lead environment where children can play freely both indoors and outdoors. Staff are engaging and thoughtful, helping to inspire children’s imagination through play. A wide range of activities are on offer including daily art and craft, quiet area, cooking, forest school, outdoor sports and games.
Kids R Us have full access to our purpose-built club with a lounge area, play room, kitchen, outside play area plus the wider school facilities - gym, food tech room, outdoor play ground, playing field and nature area. The Club is open to children age 3 - 11 and all facilities have easy access for those with disabilities. Staff are all qualified to high standards - fully DBS checked and trained in safeguarding, first aid, play work and childcare. Prices are very competitive and there is a 10% sibling discount available.

Breakfast Club
Time: 7.45am - start of school
Cost £4 (including buffet breakfast)
At Breakfast Club, a range of nutritious breakfast items are on offer, along with plenty of play opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Children are taken to their classrooms by Club staff, with a handover to teachers.
After School Club
Time: end of school - 6pm
Cost: £10.50 (including snack)
After school, a healthy snack is provided for the children when they arrive. Children can then choose from the wide range of both indoor and outdoor activities on offer.
Holiday Club
Time: 9am - 3pm
Cost: £23
Time 8am - 6pm
Cost: £30.00
Kids R Us offer a full day, all year-round holiday club for children from 3-12 years of age. This will start from Summer 2022 and will run during every school holiday, offering core days and full days. A plan of activities and themes will be sent out prior to each holiday club period.
