This half term our topic is: SAVING THE WORLD!
You can help your child at home by:
- Searching for leaves and identifying them and then creating some art with them such as leaf-printing or crayon rubbing.
- Growing your own plants.
- Using atlases and maps to research the different rainforest locations in the world
- Researching the animals found in rainforests and how they have adapted to live there.
There are always many exciting things for the children to look forward to and this term is no exception. Please make a note of the following dates:
Tuesday 8th January 2019: Swimming starts. Please bring your swimming kit, £1 contribution for the coach and have long hair tied back.
Friday 11th January: Homework will be issued today
Monday 21st January: Clubs start
Week beginning 4th February: Safety Week Week beginning

PE: Swimming on Tuesdays
Indoor PE is on Fridays
Children must bring suitable PE kit and trainers on a Fridays in a named bag. Children will also need trainers for the Daily Mile which will be taking place on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Homework: Homework for either Maths or English/Topic will be given out on Fridays to be handed in on Wednesdays.
