Sports Days

1st July 2015
This week children across Reception, KS1 and KS2 took part in their Sports Day. The weather was beautiful but hot, and the children did exceptionally well competing in temperatures that rivalled the Brazilian World Cup last year!

Reception children completed a carousel of activities including sack race, obstacle course and javelin throw, finishing the morning with running races.

KS1 children competed in house teams in events including bean bag relay and hoop throw. They then individually competed in running races and throwing competitions.

KS2 children competed in house teams across different zones; endurace, skill, speed and distance. They then had individual sprint and skipping races.

A brilliant morning or afternoon was had by all involved. A HUGE thank you goes to the staff for their hard work in making these events happen and to everyone who came along to support.
