The main focus of the first half term is to settle all the children so that they feel happy and confident in their class. We will be teaching them their new routines and encouraging them to interact positively with their peers.

During the term we will be looking at lots of exciting stories and doing work around them. This includes The Very Hungry Caterpillar, We're going on a Bear Hunt, The Little Red Hen and Jesus' Christmas Party. The children will also be learning to distinguish and identify sounds and link them to letters. Additionally children will be doing lots of practical games involving numbers and measures.
